Reiki is an energy-based approach to healing that originated in ancient Tibetan Buddhist teachings. Reiki was “rediscovered” in the 1800s and, consistent with other therapies based on Asian medical systems, assumes that physical and emotional impairments are linked to abnormalities of a person's energy or biofields.

It's an ancient technique used for stress reduction and relaxation and has been shown to have several benefits for both physical and mental health. It is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that involves the practitioner gently placing their hands on or near the body.

It is meant to resolve emotional distress by allowing healing energy to flow freely throughout the body, which results in relaxation and reduced pain and tension throughout the body. It can also help reduce stress and anxiety, which can decrease pain perception as well. It's linked to a range of physical and emotional health benefits, including better sleep, improved mood, and pain relief in published studies. Research suggests Reiki helps the body return to a state of relaxation, which allows it to potentially better heal from damage brought on by stress, injury, or disease.

Mind, Body and Soul

Explore sound healing, reiki, psychotherapy (talk therapy), earth/ancestral practices (connecting with the earth heals your nervous system), movement, asanas, your ancestral history and more in your therapy sessions. It is important to understand the connection between the mind, body, and soul in order to truly know what we need during our healing  journey. What we need may look different mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. What the mind experiences it manifests within our body, the body feels, our nervous system gets affected and ultimately it affects our life force (solar plexus), our soul.

We are not just our mind, and we are not just our body, we are both, and they both work together to help us understand and experience the world.
